Winning 5 of our last 8 sure helps us in the standings. The Brewers and Cubs losing does'nt hurt either. Winning 3 or4 against the DB's was, I'm sorry to say it, a surprise. Two one run losses and a 7 run shut-out against the Littles shows that we are definately still a contender. We will be on tour for the next three series' going to Philly, Florida, and Atlanta. Hopefully we can help the Lone Met Fan with a "scareds beating fest". I didn't realize how much The Lone Met Fan looks like Tyler Durden and how much I look like Curly Howard. Surely The LMF posted that as a compliment. Oh, I forgot! The LMF is a self proclaimed titty baby when his team loses. His team lost 6 of their last 8. Ha Ha! Rooster-Lance Bass!!! BTW, I am not responsible for Skippy Perez' injury. When you get F*&%$D alot, your P%$@@Y hurts a little. Skipping is then out of the story.
Alas, Isringhausen. We put him in again. Again he gets the save. Yet again my sphincter and knuckles are white and tight. Todd Wellemeyer delivered a strong outing, blanking Barry Bonds and the Giants over five innings. The Cards starter had lots of support, too, as the Redbirds blasted Barry Zito for six runs in four-plus frames.I cannot believe Wellemeyer pitched such a good game. Looper too. Our new additions are working out fine. Maroth, Ludwig, and Percival are doing great jobs.
Drum roll please.... and the winner of this weeks sniffer award goes to......
