Beer Series!

Even though I am a "Bud" fan, apparently 2 out of four are "Coors". The third game of the series with the Rockies looks up. Pujols hit a three run Molina (9) in the fifth. I guess fat boys don't have to run if you knock one out. Even Edmonds hit a solo-Molina on the very next pitch.

Game tonight still not their best, but proving they can still win some. Our rotation is down to three, Wells, Wellemeyer, and Looper. Our pitching staff changes more than Willie Dilly Randolph buys another Carlos. I don't know if you can still call Carpenter an Ace. He is on the DL, Wainwright (disappointment) on the DL, and Molina on the DL.

My BFF The Lone Met Fan subconsciously knows the Cardinals are the best team. He had renamed the home-run a
"Molina"and a DL stint as a 15-day Edmonds, to .... Rolen, Carpenter....etc. Our guys need a kick in the Beltran. the hitters need to hit and the pitchers need to keep it from happening.

Today's sniffer award goes

Jeff Suppan.... this guy is going to be on "The Young and the Restless"

Ring Bling!!!

Even though the game isn't officially over, I believe it's a win. I know we are off to a slow start and maybe by August we will find ourselves. Just look at last year. We had the least wins of any Division Champs and look what we got. Hey "The Lone Met Fan", when was thar last time your boys got one of these? Ha ha!!!!

5-3 Pirate sinking

Guess who hit a home run in the first? Pujols? No, Eckstein. Guess who hit a home run in the second? Pujols? No, Edmonds. Guess who hit a home run in the fifth? Pujols? No, Duncan. Pujols went 2 for 4, a double and a single. He needs to run FASTER!!!! When he hauls ass it takes two trips!!! I know I give him a lot of crap. Great first baseman. Rolen's a great third. Edmonds can be a gold glover if his arthritus isn't acting up. As hitters? Ppppppfffff! Take lessons from Duncan or even Eckstein. These boys play full throttle. But hey, a win's a win. And we need 'em!!!!

9-4 win over Pittsburgh Panties

Again, Alberta Pujols needs to eat his Wheaties. Maybe that will make him run faster. I know he weighs about 400lbs but c'mon. If you know you can't beat the throw, don't try. He didn't beat the throw from the outfield running to third, but because of a dropped ball by Jose Bautista, he's safe. Risky! I gave Zach Duke of the Pirates crap for intentionaly walking Molina for Edmonds to fill the bases and then walk Edmonds for a run! Until Wellemeyer does the same thing to Bautista in the 8th scoring Xavier Nady. FAGS!!! Can't score unless we hand it to them.

I still can't believe Edmonds has a lower average than Molina. He has the lowest average of the first and second teams. I think his Post-concusion is relapsing. Maybe he needs glasses. Maybe he needs to be traded to the Mets. They could sure use him after their 8-1 loss to Atlanta. He can replace Shawn Green. Give us Jose, just don't give us Carlos, Carlos, Carlos or Carlos. Oh and no Carlos either. No Carlos for us.

The Lone Met Fan has a Daily Douche Bag award. How about we give the first Daily Tampon sniffer award to Rocket Clemens just because we can.

Tigers beat Cards 7-8

In the fifth, Pujols was thrown out at home when he was waved home from second on Yadier Molina's single. Encarnacion's misplay of an Ivan Rodriguez hit in the sixth set up the seventh Detroit run. An inning later, after we had again made it a two-run game, Todd Wellemeyer served up a solo homer to Gary Sheffield. The best shot of the game came against closer Todd Jones in the ninth. Jim Edmonds singled in an 8-5 game. Molina barely beat out a potential double-play ball, and Adam Kennedy walked. Chris Duncan, pinch-hitting for David Eckstein, flew out for the second out, but Miles kept things alive with an RBI single up the middle. St. Louis put the winning runs on base in the ninth, but Rolen popped up to end the game.

What happened to the 06WS winners we love?

OMG!! It is almost embarrassing to be a Cardinal's fan. It seems that last year's throw aways are truly missed. I would gladly take back Suppan, Weaver and Belliard. Our power hitters can't seem to keep from hitting the ball straight into the gloves of the opposing team. Tonight's game against the Tigers made me think at the beginning we would never get out of this slump. By the 7th inning, things were looking up, except for So Tagutchi's dumb-ass attempt to steal second with two outs. Pujols needs to eat his Wheaties and knock a few out just so he can be our star again. Edmonds needs to readjust his duck tape and our entire pitching staff needs to go back to training camp. Except for Looper. Yeah I said it, LOOPER!!! is our best Pitcher? What? He is the only pitcher with an ERA less than 4.0. He is even beating our star starter Carpenter who is on the DL again.

Oh the woes of baseball.
